The Schurftwolf Side Quest

A wholly unnecessary incident featuring Qui'ra, Whiskers, and one deeply misunderstood beast.

Somewhere off the proper road, beyond the sensible concerns of kingdom and ruin, reports emerged of a creature known only as the Schurftwolf. Qui'ra would have preferred to ignore them. Whiskers declared it sounded important. The matter escalated from there.

Quest Summary

The party is currently engaged in a side quest of doubtful value involving a ragged wolf-like entity, suspicious noises, and at least one completely avoidable misunderstanding.

Witness accounts remain inconsistent. Qui'ra suspects a nuisance with teeth. Whiskers suspects treasure, prophecy, or snacks. No responsible authority has confirmed any of these.

Current Objectives

  • Locate the Schurftwolf.
  • Determine whether it is hostile, cursed, or simply ugly.
  • Prevent Whiskers from making first contact unsupervised.
  • Restore a minimal level of dignity to the expedition.
